FXCM feeds real-time streaming prices into the FX Trading Station. These prices update dynamically tick by tick with the slightest market move. These prices are not an indication of where the market is trading but actual prices where you can buy or sell the currency pair. FXCM maintains fixed spreads of 3-5 pips on the major currency pairs, which never widen under normal market conditions.

In an over-the counter market like foreign exchange, not all participants have equal access to competitive pricing. The larger and more creditworthy an institution, the better its access to other market participants and the more competitive its pricing. Having serviced 78,000 FX accounts, FXCM has access to Interbank prices that are not available to all market makers and makes the execution cost of your trades low.
